TNS ILRES – Management renewal
TNS Ilres renews its board of directors as of 25 January 2011. The current managing director (MD) Louis Mevis, having reached the upper age limit, will leave the company he founded in 1978 and has directed for more than 30 years.
The new team charged with preparing TNS Ilres for the challenges of the new decade will from now on be composed of three members:
-
Luc Biever, aged 40, managing director, is charged with the organisation and management of the company, while continuing to pursue the survey projects of his portfolio of clients;
-
Charles Margue, aged 54, research director, has been confirmed in his position as director of studies;
-
Henk van Erp, aged 48, client service director of TNS NIPO (NL), will be charged with a consulting mission to reinforce the position of TNS in Luxembourg.
Luc Biever, married, was born on 11 July 1970 in Luxembourg. He holds a degree of Applied Geography from the University of Trier and joined ILReS Market Research as a researcher on 1 May 2001, before being promoted senior researcher in 2003 and director of studies in 2005.
Charles Margue, a married father of three, was born in Luxembourg on 4 April 1956. Holding degrees in Sociology, Political Science and Demography from the University of Paris, he began his career at ILReS Market Research in October 1985, first as a freelance researcher, then as a staff researcher and finally as a director of studies.
Henk van Erp, a married father of three, was born in the Netherlands on 6 February 1962. He began his professional career with Research International NL, where he occupied numerous posts of responsibility at commercial management and development of activities levels. In 2006 he became acting managing director of RI Belgium.
After the integration of RI into TNS in the Netherlands, he then went on to become senior client service director of TNS NIPO, shareholder of TNS ILRES.
Henk van Erp thus will ensure the direct relation with the global TNS network.
At this important moment in the life of the company he has founded, Louis Mevis asserts: “I wish all the best to the new management and I would like to assure all our clients and collaborators of its absolute trustworthiness. Undoubtedly, TNS ILRES has a bright future and will continue to maintain, and even strengthen, its position as Luxembourg leader in the sector of market surveys.” To which Luc Biever replies: “Let us pay homage to Louis Mevis who, in 1978, had the foresight and courage to create the first local market survey institute. Thanks to his beneficial initiative, Luxembourg now boasts a market survey company well integrated into TNS, the world leader in this very sector. We are ready to continue our work and accept the challenges posed by this new decade.”
